Storyline
First visit
Largo and Hugo are teleported from Lantos to safety by Elma to Avalon's southern courtyard where she explains to the mariners that the creatures attacking them on Lantos are drakes and that no one has a way to defeat the drake army so far. Elma tells the brothers to meet Marco at the northern courtyard. As they walk there, Largo and Hugo reminisce about their past adventures with Marco and their time hating Marco while imprisoned. Upon encountering Marco, Largo and Hugo immediately fight their older brother and defeat them. However, Glorin stops them from killing Marco, explaining that Marco is only putting up a show to satisfy his brothers' vengeance and he has shown his repentance as he was the one who asked the elves to save Largo and Hugo in Lantos. Largo and Hugo reluctantly agree to spare Marco.
After establishing some peace with Marco, Largo and Hugo join the discussion about the drake threat and tell the elves about the Temple of Ice's involvement in creating the storm barrier that blocks the drakes from invading north while leaving the southern lands to die. The council decide that the Brotherhood of Ice must be forced to lower the barrier so that the royals would be forced to help everyone deal with the drakes. Using Elma's one-way teleportation magic, Largo, Hugo, and Marco are sent to the Temple.
Second visit
Largo and Hugo return on Fieltor's ship from Fire Abbey and bring the news of their mission's failure, the royal's protection of Frozenheart, and Marco's betrayal. Glorin decides that they have to wage war against King Tylon who has moved to Fort Liberty along with Frozenheart for their safety. As the elves have no way of sending all their troops to the north of the storm barrier, they entrust Largo and Hugo to amass an army to attack the fort, which they happily agree with, especially as they will get another chance at vengeance towards Marco. Largo and Hugo note that they can gain support from Renaldo (and if the Black Blade quest is done, Deliana), and Glorin sends them some elves troops as well. Elma informs the brothers that their ship has survived the drake attack on Lantos along with their crew and they proceed to use is to sail back north.
Gameplay
Largo and Hugo start at the bottom side of the map and have to talk to Elma to be let through. After a couple of turns walking north, they would reach the northern courtyard where Marco is. They must move adjacent to Marco twice to start the fight and defeat him. After defeating Marco, talk to Glorin to end the scenario (both dialogue options lead to the same outcome).
The following scenarios on this map are practically cutscenes with very simple objective of talking to Elma and then moving to the player's ship. Both player sides does get one loyal Elvish Captain, one loyal Elvish Fighter, and one loyal Elvish Archer each before leaving. Returning to the island afterwards has no value.
Trivia
- If Kashmir moves in this scenario, he will quote Led Zeppelin's "The Battle of Evermore" lyrics, "I'm waiting for the angels of Avalon, waiting for the eastern glow."
