Storyline

Largo and Hugo decide to sneak into the Royal Palace to find the location of Marco's island. In the palace's library, they discover a map revealing the island's name Lantos and its location in the south, at which point they escape the palace.

Gameplay

Largo and Hugo starts on the southern shore of the island, near the palace's only entrance. The entrance leads to a large room connected to seven other rooms (three of which are initially locked). The western room is the armory where the player can take an armor for quests, the eastern room is the kitchen where the player can take spices and rums. the open northwest room is a barrack containing a key to unlock the adjacent locked room which is the library, the open northeast room is a barrack containing a key to unlock the adjacent locked room which is the treasury, and the locked northern room is the bedroom. The library contains a book in one of the shelves and the map for Lantos (obtaining the map completes the initial objective) in the chest. The treasury contains two sets of gold sack worth 20 gold each and a pile that poisons the unit trying to pick it up. The bedroom contains a king statue that can be taken to be a figurehead. To unlock the bedroom doors, the player must kill an enemy guard.

Largo and Hugo are the only units available to the player and are given invisibility for this scenario. Enemy guards completely ignore them unless they step directly besides Largo or Hugo, at which point their roles are changed from "patroller" to "attacker". If an attacker isn't killed immediately, they will activate an alarm that sets all enemy units (including the ones sleeping in the barracks) on Largo and Hugo, which is guaranteed to overwhelm them unless the remaining objective is just to escape back to the ship. The guards move in predictable straight lines and can be avoided simply by not standing on or adjacent to the the lines.

Once the map is taken from the library, Largo and Hugo have to be moved back to the ship back at the start, at which point the scenario ends. There is no time limit. The palace can't be re-entered after the scenario is won the first time, so any leftover loot from the map can't be gained anymore.
