Storyline

Largo and Hugo land on the island in search of information about Marco, having heard that he crossed the island in his journey south. Local revolutionary Renaldo tells them that Marco worked with him seasons ago, but he would only tell more if the brothers help him overthrow Baron Lothar. After the brothers do so, Renaldo tells them that he gave Marco the Baron's best men for Marco's private army to weaken Lothar's supporters, but Marco has since went to Greystone Port.

The brothers may visit Farrow again for information, troops, and training. If the brothers have begun planning to attack Fort Liberty, they can ask Renaldo to join them. Renaldo would agree, except if the brothers have already secured the Black Blade's support for the attack.

Gameplay

The map is a reversed-"C"-shaped island with Renaldo's keeps and villages on the southern end of the island while Lothar's castle is on the opposite end. There are multiple keeps, castles, and villages spread on the way between the castles as well.

Battle

Largo and Hugo start near Renaldo's keep and and can recruit Spearman, Bowman, and Cavalryman in addition to recalling. Both player sides are each given one loyal Horseman and one loyal Cavalryman as well. Both Renaldo and Lothar's sides recruit Horseman, Bowman, Spearman, Heavy Infantryman, Cavalryman, and Fencer. Renaldo starts with 75 gold while Lothar starts with 200. Along the way, there are also a couple of Lieutenants from Lothar's side to fight as well.

The turn limit for winning the scenario is 40 turns. The player must defeat Lothar under the time limit and then step on his keep to finish the scenario. Death of Renaldo results in a scenario loss.
