"The Ivory Tower: Ground Floor" is a scenario from The Altaz Mariners, being a part of "The Ivory Tower" island scenario. It is accessed through the main "The Ivory Tower" map and leads to the "Reading Room" scenario.

Gameplay
Largo and Hugo start at the bottom of the map, right next to the spot that needs to be stepped on to exit back to the main "The Ivory Tower" map. A Librarian blocks the staircase that leads to the "Reading Room" scenario. To get him out of the way, the play must either have a book (which will be given away) or the Scroll of Honor in their inventory.
There are two doors that can be opened using a key hidden in the higher "Library" scenario. Each door leads to five locked doors that can be opened using a key hidden in the flowerpot in the eastern room. There are three spices and one book that can be taken from the rooms. Notable NPCs in the rooms:
- Kronan, a Red Mage who appears in the room where you may find Brother Darcus' ankh when the player picks the item up. Depending on the player's trait and progress, they may convince Kronan to let them take the ankh. Otherwise, the player has to either give up the ankh or fight Kronan.
- A hostile Dog guarding a room containing a pot of spices in the western section.
- A sleeping Spearman that becomes hostile if the player wakes him up.
