Just all so I get a more clear picture, right now it looks to me like this is a very clever idea, keeping things simple and easy to extend and still more flexible than a scenario-editor with lots of hard-coded stuff, so I'm really interested in details :) | Just all so I get a more clear picture, right now it looks to me like this is a very clever idea, keeping things simple and easy to extend and still more flexible than a scenario-editor with lots of hard-coded stuff, so I'm really interested in details :) | ||

questions
Hi, this proposal sounds quite interesting, but I missed any discussion on forums or IRC if that took place, so I'm now wondering about a few things, hope this is the right place to ask..
- What is a graph editor? Can you give some examples of others programs who have an editor which works like what you have in mind? (like, does it mean a tree-view, or boxes connected with lines, ..)
- How would it be integrated? The map editor allows you to place one terrain to each map position currently, so where will the map editor and the graph editor touch?
- How would adding such events work, as you say, by plugins, or directly into the source? (like, how much code and what type of information would I need to add a new event..)
- And what would be some typical, concrete example from the game for such an event?
Just all so I get a more clear picture, right now it looks to me like this is a very clever idea, keeping things simple and easy to extend and still more flexible than a scenario-editor with lots of hard-coded stuff, so I'm really interested in details :) --Allefant 12:12, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
