Eldaric IV was the final king of Stormvale and father of Haldric I. He was the sovereign ruler of Stormvale until its invasion by the orcs. Despite preparing defences on the northern frontier, his personal guards were eventually flanked. He allowed his son to evacuate the populace, but in holding the orcs back, he died at the hand of his invaders, marking the end of the Kingdom of Stormvale.
