There's a message about the blue shield next to Delfador, which is a silver crown. I'm sure this message has been changed in the English version, since I made that change. --[[User:SkeletonCrew|SkeletonCrew]] 00:08, 1 April 2007 (CEST)

Revision as of 13:36, 8 April 2007

Xtitus 21:15, 6 August 2006 (CEST)

Der Thronerbe

HttT "Test of the Clans" enthält ein paar Fehler. Der "Counter" zählt in Englisch "XY members of the clan defeated". Die Siegbedingungen scheinen falsch. Anstelle von "Besiegt alle Anführer (Bonus)" müsste es wohl heißen "Besiegt Lord Baynur (Bonus)"

Ist ein Fehler im Original. Die Übersetzung ist ansonsten korrekt. chrber

Der Aufstieg Wesnoths

Habe gerade mal korrigiert (12.11.2006) Stephan G.

Die Geschichte zweier Brüder

Die Südwacht

Invasion der Finsterniss

Not really a wrong translation but a problem with the length of the translation. While fixing this problem http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13637 it appeared the following translation doesn't fit in the dialog and truncates the text and "kein Feigling bin." is not visible (the forum thread has a savegame.)

"I will accept this challenge. By your own master's terms, that proves I am " "no coward."

"Ich nehme diese Herausforderung an. Ich werde auf die Bedingungen eures " "Herrn eingehen, was zeigt, dass ich kein Feigling bin."

Unter brennenden Sonnen

Northern Rebirth

A consistency problem; the weapon pitchfork is translated with "Mistforke". In the introdution of the first scenario of Northern Rebirth the same word is translated with "Heugabel" on various occasions. If this is not seen as a mistake then there's another mistake: Northern_Rebirth/scenarios/Breaking_the_Chains.cfg:217 The first time in the translation the plural is Heugabelen instead of Heugabeln.

The same for Northern_Rebirth/scenarios/To_The_Mines.cfg:29

I've never heared the term "Mistforke" before, and I live far out on the country with lots of old farms and pitchforks still around :) (But then, I'm in the very south, so it might be a north German word.)

Probably not far enough out on the country :) Yes this is a term used by "Bauern" in the north of germany. I don't know if it is used in the south also. Maybe this word is introduced by me in the translation? A more formal word is surely "Heugabel". We should use "Heugabel" instead of "Mistforke". It is too special to be understood by the normal player guy. --VonHalenbach 13:37, 6 December 2006 (CET)

Reading back I think I might have not been clear enough the game itself uses mistforke [1]. Northern Rebirth uses Heugabel.
