UI scaling options

In the preferences there is now an option to scale the game's UI to 1x (default), 2x, 3x, or 4x the default size.

Hardware accelerated rendering

Wesnoth now uses the hardware acceleration option in SDL rather than software rendering. This provides a significant performance boost, with one test showing an approximately 60% boost in FPS.

Portrait images converted to webp

Most portrait images in campaigns and for core units have been converted from png to webp, reducing Wesnoth's download size significantly.

Consistent scrolling speed

Scrolling speed across maps in game and in the editor has been fixed to better maintain a consistent scrolling speed.
