This page was made to accompany the walkthrough video Konrad2 made for the puzzles in the campaign Genesis. Only puzzles that hinder progression if unsolved are covered.

S4 Crypt

Puzzle 1

Hint 1

<details>To bridge the chasm, one requires the element of stability. Binding life first demands the flesh - all energies require a conduit. Matter is the starting point that shelters all of creation and is the medium that allows life to grow and prosper.<details>

Hint 2

Activate the glyphs in order to spell out 'EARTH'.

Solution

North-west glyph, south glyph, south-east glyph, north-east glyph, south-west glyph.

Puzzle 2

Hint 1

Beyond the flesh, what else is needed for life? The mind and soul? The essence? The bridge between the inanimate and the sentient is brought about by the aspects. Sentience is formed from the combination of the elements, but only special souls are possessed of essence itself. Esther: Looks like something related to us. Matching our 'essence', is that what it is?

Hint 2

Each of the Fae (Aryel, Yumi, Esther) represents an aspect of creation. Move them to one of the 6 hexes that represents their aspect.

Solution

Aryel - blood/life -> tree Esther - fire -> fire Yumi -> shadow/darkness -> dark chasm

S12 Iron Crescent

You are given text/information are supposed to move to the related objects (in order of them being mentioned).

Puzzle 1

Hint

They kept her locked in a small room, in utter isolation. It was considered an act of kindness, given that it would have been much easier to just kill her.

Solution

Move to the key.

Puzzle 2

Hint 1

Through the glassy pane, she could see a flower garden a little ways away. Their petals bloomed everlasting through sunlight and rain, fire and snow, bright colors illuminating the monochromatic limbo of her prison. Not too far off, there was a windmill where they milled bread to be served to the demon lord and the other inhabitants of his stronghold. This was also the only thing they ever gave to her to eat.

Solution

Move to the flower, then to the grain (it somewhat looks like hay/wooden logs).

Puzzle 3

Hint

She prayed to the Guardians to set her free, but they could not, would not help her. She wept at the door, crying for her sisters to free her, but they turned a blind eye to her plight. Shunned and tormented by all, she could only wait as time went by in endless isolation.

Solution

Move to the altar, the eye, then the hourglass.

Puzzle 4

Hint

Rise, rise and drive the spear of vengeance through their bodies. Raze your prison to the ground. I will grant you the power to do whatever you desire, as long as you pledge yourself to me. Listen to your heart. You can trust me.

Solution

Move to the spear, the brazier (representing fire), and then to the heart.

Puzzle 5

Hint 1

Outside, in the sky, the moon irradiated its faded hue onto the ashen world below. It was a pale reflection of the golden warmth of day, a mirror casting its illusory glow into the night. Ivory light cascaded onto azure flowers, soft petals wilted slightly with the onset of snow. She clasped her hands around the charm adorning her neck - a cheap, metallic thing that had been the only trinket her sisters had given her - and murmured a quiet, mourning song. You hold the key to your own fate. I shall not make the decision for you. I only ask that you look into yourself and find what you truly desire. You may loathe the idea of willingly selling yourself to me as a servant, but surely you don't believe that it can be worse than the state you are in now, hmm?

Solution

Move to the mirror, the flower, the trinket/amulett, and then the key.

Puzzle 6

Hint 1

This time, you are supposed to spell out a word.

Hint 2

She made up her mind. No matter the price, living like this wasn't worth living. Anything would have been better, she thought. Still, her hands trembled as she gripped the mirror. Each glyph names a price she paid for her choice. Which price is missing? What was never said, what identifies her? Spell it out.

Solution

Spell out 'NAME'.

S13 Silent Night

Hint 1

Hearing her pleas, it granted her wish. In a rising arpeggio of plucked strings, the climbing strum of the harp broke the eerie darkness. And, like a mirror, the spell was shattered.

Hint 2

Dark color = low note, bright color = high note

Solution

Trigger the crystals in order of dark/low to bright/high. north-east, south-west, south-east, north-west, south, north

S15b Ashen Heart II

Move Yumi to the deep water.

S17 Twilight Vision

Puzzle 1

"Huh, interesting. Looks like I need to make a fire here?" You have a fireplace underwater. You can see lava, hay, and some flat/earth.

Solution

Pick up earth, move it to the fireplace, then hay, then the lava.

Puzzle 2

"I think I need to bring that tree back to life." The marked place is frozen over. You can see a dead tree, water, fire, blood.

Hint

Blood represents life.

Solution

Pick up the fire, and move it to the marked place. Then the tree, the water, the blood/life.

Puzzle 3

"I wonder why the trees are all different around here."

Hint 1

Some trees look healthier, some more dead.

Hint 2

Order them from healthiest, to dead.

Solution

south, north, sout-east, north-east, south-west, north-west

Ashen Heart III

Hint

"Her voice wept in a lonely melody. It started low, in a muted tone, then rose to a brittle, crystalline note. She breathed and her song dropped, just a little lower, before finally returning to its original tone. She hummed the four note sequence over and over, crying it out into the darkness." Check Hint 2 in silent night if you've forgotten about it.

Solution

right - dark, middle - bright, left - less bright, right - dark
