A Harrowing Escape is the third scenario in The Rise of Wesnoth campaign.
Background
The Lich-Lords, formerly the leaders of the Wesfolk, had opened gateways to allow armies of orcs to pour through. Due to the number of orcs, Stormvale was unable to hold out, being forced to evacuate its populace. Its king, Eldaric IV, died in battle to buy the evacuees time as they journeyed through the south pass, led by Prince Haldric.
