What I propose is a means to (when creating a game) invite players into a game, reserving a slot for that player while leaving the remaining slots open for other players. The invited player will be presented with a accept/decline prompt, if the player accepts they will join the game, if they decline the player creating the game can attempt to re-invite them (the invited player may hit the wrong button) but re-inviting the same player should only be allowed a finite number of times per created game, this would be to allow the game to start with a full number of players and not stuck waiting for a player who may not want to play.

Obviously this could be integrated with the friends list etc so that a player could search their friends list for someone to invite and likewise a player could ignore invites from someone on their blocked list.

This idea is one of my own based upon me and my friends experience with the multi-player system and what a possible solution to game hi-jacking might be.

What I propose is a means to (when creating a game) invite players into a game, reserving a slot for that player while leaving the remaining slots open for other players. The invited player will be presented with an accept/decline prompt, if the player accepts they will join the game, if they decline the player creating the game can attempt to re-invite them (the invited player may hit the wrong button) but re-inviting the same player should only be allowed a finite number of times per created game, this would be to allow the game to start with a full number of players and not stuck waiting for a player who may not want to play.

Obviously this could be integrated with the friends list etc so that a player could search their friends list for someone to invite and likewise a player could ignore invites from someone on their blocked list.
