Why shouldn't we edit this page?
I understand that you want to keep it in synch with the distributed manual, but not allowing editing cripples all the benefit of using a wiki in the first place - to develop the document collaboratively.
Wouldn't it make more sense to allow the wiki to be edited, then, when it comes time for a version release, eyeball the wiki, make any required tweaks, and package a snapshot of it with the version release?
- According to ettin in #wesnoth-dev, this is done because the maintainer of the MANUAL file uses the wiki to edit it (but doesn't want others to edit it). So it's sort of a private page. --Allefant 23:47, 15 September 2005 (CEST)
