Tactics

Castle Hopping

This strategy doesn't work on all maps, however it's very effective if there are multiple
castles. The basic idea of the strategy is to move to a castle right next to your opponent's castle.
This allows you to control the space your enemy has and restrict him to a small area without
many villages. You then control the remainder of the map and villages. Thus getting more gold
for yourself and making your opponent lose the ability to hold a substantial army.

Now, while this tactic doesn't work on all maps, it's still good to know and be good at.
Some maps that are good for this are: Castle Hopping Isle (duh)

If you notice your opponent doing this to you, advance as well. Otherwise you'll be
locked into a small section and never be able to get out.

This is best done with these units:

  • Wose
  • Troll Whelp
  • Orcish Grunt
  • Heavy Infantryman
  • Drake Clasher
  • Dwarvish Guardsman(supplemented with Dwarvish Fighters)
  • Ghost

Replays soon.
