The game server runs on TCP port 15000 by default.

Public Official servers

server.wesnoth.org 
accepts the most recent stable release of the game, uses the default port 15000
server.wesnoth.org:14999 
accepts the most recent development release of the game, uses port 14999
server.wesnoth.org:14998 
accepts up-to-date SVN versions of the game, uses port 14998

server.wesnoth.org is the same host as devsrv.wesnoth.org

Alternative servers setup by users

soliton.homelinux.org 
accepts all versions, unfortunately latest improvements to the server and client have made the server incompatible with earlier versions so probably only 1.1.2+svn and newer will work correctly. dynamic IP (if not online, just ask Soliton on #wesnoth)
